Become a Member Book a Bay

At The Perch in Beavercreek, Ohio, walk-in rates start at $15 per 30 minutes for an open bay, and members pay as little as $7.50 for the same time. The real cost depends less on the facility and more on how often you play and whether you split the bay with friends.

Walk-In Pricing

No membership required. Book a bay, show up, and pay the posted rate. At The Perch, that's:

  • Open bay: $15 per 30 minutes (non-peak), $17.50 (peak)
  • Private bay: $20 per 30 minutes (non-peak), $22.50 (peak)

Peak hours are 5–10pm on weekdays and 9am–10pm on weekends. Every bay fits up to four players, so a group splitting one open bay for an hour is paying $7.50–$8.75 per person, cheaper than a bucket of range balls at most outdoor facilities.

Membership Pricing

Memberships exist for one reason: lower your per-visit cost if you're playing regularly. The Perch runs two tiers:

  • Perch Core, $49/month or $529/year: 20% off every bay rate, 10% off lessons, 18-day booking window
  • Perch Elite, $79/month or $875/year: 50% off every bay rate, 20% off lessons, 21-day first-priority booking window

Elite members pay $7.50 per 30 minutes on an open bay, non-peak, the same rate a walk-in group of four splits between everyone. If you're playing solo or with one other person more than a couple times a month, the math tends to favor Elite fast.

What Actually Changes Your Cost Per Round

Three things move the number more than anything else:

  • Group size. Splitting a bay four ways turns a $30/hour open bay into $7.50 a person. This is the single biggest lever for walk-ins.
  • Peak vs. non-peak timing. Booking outside 5–10pm weekdays and 9am–10pm weekends saves a couple dollars per half hour, which adds up over a season.
  • Visit frequency. At roughly 3–4 visits a month, membership discounts typically outpace the monthly fee itself. Below that, walk-in rates usually win.

Is a Membership Worth It?

If you're coming in for a weekly lesson, a standing league night, or just to escape an Ohio winter more than once a week, yes, the math works in your favor well before the first month is over. If you're an occasional player who wants to split a bay with friends on a Saturday, walk-in pricing is the simpler, cheaper path. Either way, there's no obligation to decide up front. Start as a walk-in, upgrade whenever the frequency justifies it.
